160 Characters

This is the last message you will ever send. One person. One text. 160 characters. Choose who it is for, then write it.

160 characters left

Each word glows by how much meaning it carries to this person. Grey words are filler. You only learn the regret score after you send.

How to play

Goal: Write the last message you will ever send, in 160 characters or fewer, so nothing important is left unsaid.

  1. Choose who the message is for: Mum, Boss, Best friend or Stranger.
  2. Write your message. A counter shows how many characters you have left.
  3. Words glow by how much they mean to that person. Grey words are filler.
  4. Press Send it. You get a verdict, plus scores for warmth, clarity and regret.

Tips: Say real, specific things the person would care about, such as thank you, sorry or a memory. Very short messages and phrases like "I never told you" raise the regret score.
