Services you underfund decay. Taxes you set too high make people leave or riot.
How to play
Goal: Rule the village for 10 years without a riot. Keep your villagers happy and the village alive.
- Each year, set the tax rate (0 to 70% of what people earn).
- Split the money between four things: Guards, Granary, School and Well. The four sliders always add up to 100%.
- Press Rule this year. Money comes in, services get funded and every service slowly decays if you ignore it.
- Each year an event appears. Pick one of the two choices. Some cost gold, some cost mood.
- Click any villager to read what they are thinking.
- If the average mood drops very low, the village riots and you lose gold. Very unhappy villagers leave for good. If fewer than 10 are left, the village collapses.
Tips: A tax around 20 to 30% works best. No tax means no money for services, and a very high tax makes everyone leave. Keep the Granary and Guards funded.
